What to Expect

Just inside the main entrance, you’ll find our welcome area which includes information about the church, current events, and our greeters.  The greeters will happily assist you with questions as well as provide you with the morning church bulletin.

Across from the main entrance is the sanctuary and you may sit anywhere. Except on the piano bench.

The service begins at 10:15 am and is roughly an hour and fifteen minutes in length.  As we consider ourselves a teaching church, the sermons usually focus on how we can apply the teachings of the Bible to our daily lives.  We also feel God desires the worship of His people, so much of the service is also praise through song.

Most churches pass an offering plate during the service for collection of money to go back to God.  At Franklin Community Church, we do not do this.  According to scripture, we are to give secretly and independently as God is the one who truly sees what we give of ourselves.  Therefore, there is a slot in the wall next to the church office where people may place their offerings at any time.

We provide child care for ages 2 and below and ages 2 through 4.  Typically, two adults are in the 2 and below group.  Children, ages 4 through 6 have their own service that during the sermon time.
